Named the No. 1 zoo in America by Parents magazine (2009) and Child magazine (2004), Tampa’s Lowry Park Zoo is accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA). The Zoo is located at 1101 W. Sligh Avenue in Tampa, one mile west of I-275 (exit 48).
The Zoo is open seven days a week, from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily, with extended hours on select nights during the summer. Regular admission prices are: adult - $20.95, seniors (60+) - $18.95, children ages 3-11 - $15.95, and children 2 and under - FREE. Parking is free. Lowry Park Zoo:

Sunday, January 10 from 9:30 a.m.-5 p.m. Annual Conservation Day is also $5 Day Presented by Wal-Mart Stores Inc. Visit all your favorite animals at Tampa’s Lowry Park Zoo and learn about endangered wildlife for just $5 per person. A portion of the admission cost from the annual Conservation Day is dedicated to the Zoo’s conservation initiatives worldwide.

Wild at Heart Saturday, February 13 and Sunday, February 14 - tours start at 5:30 p.m. In honor of Valentine’s Day, singles, couples and groups of friends (ages 21 and up) are invited to the Zoo for a lighthearted look at love in the animal kingdom. This fourth annual tour and progressive dinner will entertain guests with interesting stories about the pairing, partnering and mating habits of our animal residents. Guests are welcomed with romantic refreshments and up-close animal encounters, where they will proceed to various animal habitat areas stopping for salads, candlelight dinner and dessert. The event is open bar. Two tours are offered each night of the event, lasting approximately 3.5 hours. Reservations are required. Annual Pass to Disney/Epcot: Weekdays Only and with some blackout dates. But still more than 180 days to visit. This is about half-price as compared to a full season pass. Good deal if you can go there on weekdays (which we prefer ourselves, dodge the crowds).

$169 for age 10 and up, $149 ages 3-9.
